Fire water reservoirs and their authorization
Installation
Every fire water reservoir must be capable of storing at least 30 m³ of water. The bottom of the reservoir can be a maximum of 7 m from the ground level. The fire water reservoir must be easily accessible for fire trucks and must be located no more than 200 m from the protected building. There should be no slippery surfaces, protruding edges, or stones in the reservoir bed, especially in the case of concrete or blockwork beds.
